Obituary of Steven Bertroch Mayne

Steven Bertroch Mayne passed away the morning of May 8th, 2015. He was born March 15th, 1960 to his loving parents Carl J. and Helen Joyce Mayne. He loved his family more than anything, and is survived by his mother Joyce, and his siblings, Marsha, Garland, George, and Joylynn, as well as his 5 children; two daughters, Crystal and Marissa, and three sons, Jessie, Joshua and Knight as well as 5 grandchildren. Steven loved being outside, he would often pull his kids out of bed early in the morning to go and watch the sunrise up American Fork canyon. He loved God, and felt closest to him in the mountains. He also loved art, and music, writing songs and singing, painting, carving wood, silversmithing, and all manner of other artistic feats. He loved animals, fish, dogs, chinchillas, birds, snakes, and others. (All mentioned he owned at some point) He is greatly loved and will be severely missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 6th Ward, 300 North 100 East. A viewing will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
