Dear Alto family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of having your Mother as my favorite High School English teacher at Ukiah High. I will always remember her warm heart, beautiful smile and motherly spirit about her. May you find comfort in the countless memories shared and peace knowing she is enjoying her after life. Sending my condolences during this difficult time. Regards, Stacey Clark Caico

We are so blessed to have known Pat, that we could call her a friend. It was a pleasure to talk to her. She was so intelligent, so full of life, so kind and considerate. She truly lived her faith. We are so honored to have known her and her loved ones. Now she rests in peace with no more pain and suffering, only joy, peace and happiness. We will be with her again one beautiful day. Ramon & Grasiela

Pat brought the Arts to the starving Ukiah. I moved there from Los Angles as a 19 year old bride, in 1972 and when Pat hit town we finally started a bit of a play house. She was full of great ideas. It was a pleasure having her and the children as a part of our community. I worked with her boys in Scouts and primary and loved every minute of it. She will be missed!

I was lucky to have Mrs. Alto as one of my high school teachers (public speaking classes and mock trial team). I admire so much the enthusiasm, humor, and sensitivity she brought to her work with students. She also prided herself in being a match-maker, and I have her to thank that I'm happily married to my high school sweetheart, 20 years after we met in one of her classes! I am grateful to have known such an amazing woman and will always remember the love she shared with so many.

Dear Families... Pat graduated with my sister Christina in 1963. And I graduated with Terri in 1965. She was always soft spoken with a smile on her face. The last time I saw her was at her 50th class reunion from high school. We had a wonderful conversation. Pat definitely made the world a better place and we are all better for having her in our lives. I am so sorry for your loss but she is happy and healthy in Heaven. May your sweet memories sustain you until we all see her again as God has promised. Warm Regards, Linda
