Obituary of Lenora Irene Neil Limb

Lenora Irene Neil Limb Our loving mother and grandmother, Lenora Irene Neil Limb, returned to her Heavenly Father on June 3, 2015. She was born on October 11, 1926 in American Fork, Utah, to Victor Floyd and Lenora Elizabeth Butt Myers. Irene married William C. Neil on September 24, 1945 in Salt Lake City. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in September of 1946. He passed away on April 8, 1972. She married Daniel W. Limb on June 13, 1978. He passed away May 8, 2003. She attended school in American Fork, Utah. She played the trumpet in the high school band. In her later years she fulfilled one of her dreams, learning to play the organ. She has a beautiful Lowery Organ that she enjoyed playing and others enjoyed listening to. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions in the church. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and enjoyed sharing it with others. She loved doing family history and learning about her ancestors. She also helped many others with their family history. She was employed by JC Penney Co. in American Fork, Orem, and Provo stores for many years. Mom loved being with her family and being a part of family activities. She attended games, recitals, programs, baptisms, weddings, or anything her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren were doing. She was really proud of them and loved them all. She was a good “sport”, her family enjoyed teasing her and she would tease back. She was a kind and loving person, willing to help anyone she could. She is going to be greatly missed. She is survived by her children Blaine & Francine Neil, Sheri & Harold Spens, Kathy & Kent Rodeback, Jay and Rebecca Neil, Wonda & Abe Dalley, Carolyn & (Lavoy) Erickson, Danny & Cinda Limb and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 8, 2015 1:00 p.m. at American Fork 3rd Ward chapel, 165 North 350 West, American Fork.
