Obituary of Floyd Keith Hawkins

Floyd Keith Hawkins, age 91, passed away peacefully 19 July 2015 in Mission Viejo, California. He was the oldest of four children, born April 21, 1924 in Provo, Utah to Willard and Wilma (Stolworthy) Hawkins. He served in US Army Air Division in World War 2. On June 19,1946, he married Elaine Allred in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an aerospace engineer and worked in California for 35 years. He retired in 1985 and moved to Highland, UT. He and his wife served a mission to New Zealand (1946-1949) and in the Manila Philippines Temple, where he was a Sealer (1995-96) Keith was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Elaine, his parents and his brothers, Carl (Nelma) Hawkins, Richard (Marie) Hawkins and brother in law Evan Allred. He is survived by his wife, Elaine, children David (Sandy) Hawkins, Ronald (Amy) Hawkins, Bruce (Charlene) Hawkins, Eileen (Jerry) Garlock, and Kent (Rejane) Hawkins, 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren, and sister, Barbara (Hawkins) Allred. Services will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the LDS Stake Center, 5335 West 11200 North, Highland, Utah 84003. Viewing at 10 a.m. Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment in Highland City Cemetery.
