Obituary of Michael Olson
Michael Patrick Olson, 15, passed away on September 4th, 2015 in Lehi, Utah.
Born November 1st, 1999 in Orem, Utah to Stacey Berg and Derek Nelson.
Michael was a compassionate and loving young man who brought light to those around him with his remarkable sense of humor and genuine love for all. From a young age, Michael aspired to reach for the stars and become a pilot, surgeon, and a writer. At only 15 years of age, he had an incredible amount of potential. Michael’s interests included the WWII era, Civil Air Patrol, Commemorative Air Force, speaking new languages, playing records such as Benny Goodman on his classic trumpet horn turntable, creating comics, and watching anime with his best friends.
He is survived by his mother Stacey Ann Berg, his father Derek Shane Nelson, his sisters Brooklyn, Tristen and Hailey, his brother Tyson, Grandparents Randall and Theresa Johnson, step father Ian Berg, step siblings Skye, Arya, and Kristen, , and aunts and uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 10th, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Sunrise Chapel at Camp Williams, 17800 South Camp Williams Road, Riverton Utah.
Viewings will be held September 9th on Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and September 10th, Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the Camp Williams Sunrise Chapel at Camp Williams 17800 South Camp Williams Road, Riverton, Utah. Burial will be in Lehi City Cemetery.
