We are sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandpa& great grandpa. I met him for the first time six years ago. I drove down his driveway and he met me half way. I told him who I was (Dan's cousin) and I was on a scouting trip for the up coming elk hunt. We talked for a while and he said that if I needed a wheeler there was one in the shed I could use. He was one of the most generous men I have ever met. I have talked with Carolyn and Coleen several times during my recent stay. And was updated on his contrition. I fill that he was ready to go home to our Heavenly Father. He is now in a much better place.

Yet another piece of the Carter family has returned home, we are all saddened. Uncle Brent always made everyone feel welcome, no matter who you were, that's just how he was. We will miss all of his stories at the reunion, and his contagious laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family today as they rejoice in his life, we wish we could be there to share.
Love,
Hattie & Jon Allen, Auston & Trinity Richan, and Sheryl & Darrell Helbert.

I grew up just up the street from Brent. When I saw the obituary it reminded me of when he took us up to Yellowstone when we were scouts. We had a great time with him. He took his boat up and pulled us all across the lake so they we wouldn't get caught in the waves in our canoes. It was a great trip and when I remember it I always remember him. I didn't know him well but I know he was a good guy just by my interaction with him on the trip. My condolences to your family.

Dear Colleen, I was saddened to read about the loss of your dear Brent. Alpine Upholstery and the two of you were such a fixture of our community. My dad relied on Brent's expertise frequently and therefore, so did I. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Jeanne (Paxman) Lewis
