Obituary of Alta Judkins Bailey
Alta Judkins Bailey, 93 passed away Dec. 22, 2015 in Salem, Ut. Born May 5, 1922 in Paul, Idaho to Parley Berrett Judkins and Sarah Blanch Judkins. She married Albert Storer Bailey Dec. 8, 1941 in Murray, Ut. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various callings. She was active in 4-H for 30 years and a member of the Daughter of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Don) Miller, Wynne (Robert) Robinson, Dorian (Larry) Heaton, Chadette (Kim) Sorensen, Eden (Ben) Lindow, 28 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Joyce Parkin. She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson, a sister, 2 brothers, 2 sister-in-laws, and 2 brother-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 3rd Ward, 165 No. 350 West. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial
