Goodnight sweet warrior your battle has come to an end. Every day you put on your battle gear and fought an invisible enemy your own immune system. Your immune system attacking from the inside out but you would not put your sword down. You would not give up. Somedays your fight was just to get out of bed other days it was to get out and socialize. You smiled and laughed even when the enemy was advancing. So many don't understand and you never let the idea that because you feel good today they hoped you were cured get to you. You fought everyday hoping one day there would be a cure. Your battle is over fellow lupus warrior your fight was not in vain. You lived a life of love and touched the hearts of many. Your mission is over and its your time to rest. It's time to let us carry your torch my friend. We grow from your strength and a cure may be just around the bend. So sleep with the angels lupus warrior until we meet again. Love you sis.

I will never forget all the fun times we had together.....being pregnant together each with our firstborns.....Your Dad, calling Bernardo....Bean Burrito, teasing you with the children of the corn-stalks....laughing...watching Travis and Jonathan play together.....drinking from the hose....our long talks about our futures...we were just beginning our friendship....Rest in Peace...baby sister....(that's what I used to call you, remember?)
