Eldine and Joe lived a few houses away from my family.i always remember how thoughtful they were. I remember one year along time ago at Halloween they handed out gifts instead of candy, they always had something fun going on and I remember the great stories they would share. You will be missed.

Eldine and Joe were our neighbors in Hughland, very sweet lady. We spent many nights playing games at their home. Eldine was an example of a very special lady. Loved her. Wish I could have visited her more.

Aunt Eldine was the eldest of 5 sisters who were riased by a widowed mother in Preston ID. They must have been quite a family because my father from Philadelphia PA & attending BYU heard of the Bingham girls and went up with a schoolmate to see for himself. Eldine & her sisters demonstrated to their families the extraordinary influence and power of quiet, talented women, and especially the amazing strength of closely-bound sisters. Aunt Eldine - always gracioius, kind and fun - an elegant daughter of God - and important in my life. My love to her family - what a heritage.

I often think of the sisters sitting around a table playing a board game. They were raised good values and were not bothered by T.V., internet, cell phones. The evens were spent doing things as a family and that is becoming harder and harder for families to do today. How sad! Leona and I send our love to a wonderful Lady. They will all be together again soon and ready to play another game.

I loved my Aunt Eldine. She was kind, polite and could tell a great story with a smile and twinkle in her eye. She was always ready to play a challenging game of scrabble or my favorite, Ipswich and always ready to make a batch of hand cream if you visited her. Her house was always spotless and her make up done to perfection.
