Obituary of Floyd Vest

Floyd K Vest, 84, passed away February 11, 2016 in Lehi, Utah. Born July 28, 1931 in American Fork, Utah to Elbert Kay and Faun Davis Vest. He married Marcia Wadley March 4, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Marcia passed away April 10, 2007. He later married Loye Ann Neil on August 13, 2010 and later divorced. Floyd also known as “Frosty” took many youth to his family farm in American Fork to teach them how to work. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in various callings and was especially active in Scouting. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcia, daughter Denise Sorensen, son Brad F. Vest and his sister Dorothy V. Taylor. He is survived by his children Kurt V. (Dawn) Vest, Kevin W. (Mitzi) Vest, Derrill K. (Claudia) Vest, brother Larry E. (Erlynn) Vest and son in law Ferril M. Sorensen. He had 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday February 23 rd , 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel 49 E 100 N, American Fork, UT. A viewing will be held Monday February 23 rd from 6‐8 p.m. at the mortuary and from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
