Laura and Troy, I just heard the news about Kris and wanted you to know that my heart breaks for you. I have a darling picture of him at one of our piano recitals...with our whole group from years ago. Please let me know if I can send it to you. (lisawelchcall@gmail.com) Kris was a teachable, kind-hearted, bright, and capable student. I can't imagine what a wonderful young man he must have turned out to be. All my love during this impossible time. ~Lisa

Hello Troy, Laura and Conner,
I had the pleasure of mentoring Kristopher at the University of Utah when I was working on my dissertation. Kristopher went above and beyond the call of duty every week in order to help with my experiments. I enjoyed his eagerness to learn and thank him for the satisfaction I got from teaching him. Your beautiful eulogy helped me know him better.

i didn't know him as well as I would have liked. But the short time I lived in your guys area years ago, he made an impact on me with his level of maturity and level of genuine interest he showed in those he associated with. I looked up to him for that even though he was a couple years younger than I was. He was someone you could trust and count on to be a genuine friend.

I couldn't believe when I saw this. Kris was a good friend to me in Jr. High, which was a time I didn't have a whole lot of friends. He always managed to do something to crack me up. I'm sorry for your loss, and hope you will find the comfort needed through this difficult time.

I remember Kris as a great soccer player and a good friend to my son. Spent many hours watching the two play soccer together over the years. Loved visiting with Laura at the games. I'm so shocked and sorry he left so soon. May you be blessed and comforted during this hard time.

Dear Connor, Laura, Troy and rest of the family, nothing is more worse than loosing a child/family member of that age. And it did happen to you. I am thankful that I met Kristopher long time ago at your visit to Berlin. He is dead, but not gone. Kristopher will be with you in your hearts, memories and even if you don't see him anymore, you can talk to him. My deepest sympathies to you, Sandra and family

Troy, Laura and Elder C. Bartlett,
Our hearts and prayers go to you as you grieve the loss of Kristopher.
What a lucky boy to have such a wonderful parents, and family--and how fortunate you have been to have wonderful son. That hope and promise of eternal relationships is so significant and meaningful. In speaking to him last fall, I was impressed by his friendliness, intellect, his drive and ambition. He was a son you have every reason to be proud of. We pray that you find that solace that comes through the comforter in your hour of need.

Dear Troy and Laura, I just want to express my deepest sympathy and condolences! My heart aches for you. We are truly blessed to have the knowledge and gift of the gospel. I to lost an infant son named Christopher. I thought that was quite ironic! May you know that my love and prayers are with you and your son Connor, who is serving a mission.

Will forever be missed. Best next door neighbor growing up I cherish all the memories we have thanks for contributing to an unforgetful childhood that mostmostly was spent out doors. Except for the times we watched movies and played video games and got on the internet. Haha. This comment box is way too small to talk about all the good times we had but one thing I know, you will forever be missed. Love you buddy

That is so Kristopher. He loved guns from day 1. His Mom tried to stop this, so he would make them out of bread, carrots...whatever he could point or make to look like a gun! There was no stopping that fascination. And his ability to figure things out. He picked up my Gibson one day and could play it better than I ever could...no lessons, no practice time, just picked it up and went with it.

To Troy, Laura and Conner.
When I think of Kristopher, it is of the times you came by when he was little, and he always remembered where the toy cupboard was, and always picked the elastic shooter. Then he'd sit at the piano, and blow my mind away with how well he played. I'm so sorry for his loss. Love you guys. xx
