I worked out with Gregs dad a lot of mournings at Vasa fitness just across the street from where Greg worked. We would stop by to say hi and I would watch Gregs face light up to see his dad. Kay loved Greg and Greg loved his dad. I was lucky enough to have been there to see the shared bond these two great men had. The mutual love and adroration one for the other.

On Drill weekends in the National Guard, without fail, Greg would brighten those days for me. I appreciated him for his jokes, his enthusiasm for work and helping others, his infectious laugh, and the pride he took in serving his country. I'm glad I crossed paths in life with Greg, I'm better for it.
