I was so saddened to hear of your mom's passing. You probably know she was like a second mother too me. I felt like I could tell her anything. I was also sad that I could not attend her services. I have been very ill and in and out of the hospital twice. I am starting to recover, but too weak to travel. Know that I was there in spirit! Love, Susan

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I thought a lot of your Mother. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I so enjoyed my telephone chats with her and her many visits with me as my visiting teacher over the past ten or so years. We discussed not only the religious lesson but family activities - trips with Ralph, dinner at Nancy's, visits from Rebecca, grandchildren activities, various things we had in common. She loved my dog and had to tell me how bad she felt the time she came with a companion and Tippy wouldn't come so she could pet her. I will miss her.

Nancy, Rebecca, and Ralph: Your mother was one of a kind. I always adored her no nonsense attitude toward life. She always got down to the brass tacks and did not let religion or other issues cloud her stance. Over the last few years, I always treasured our discussions in the yard or my last bump into her at Home Depot with Amanda buying paint for the garage door. I will miss not seeing her friendly face.
