Dear Judy & Family
I have had the great opportunity to serve with Larry. He received the total respect and admiration from me and all whom he worked with in the Guard. His work was always of commendable quality! He is admired by all of his subordinates and leaders. I have always missed his company and commitment to achieve as well as his cheerfulness and integrity. I know he will be missed! What a commendable life he has led.SGM Pete.

I will remember the love and kindness Bishop Hansen shared with my mom and other single sisters of his ward. His gentleness and concern was appreciated. I will also remember him for his love of Family History. He was passionate about finding his ancestors and we will miss seeing him at the AF Family History Center.

A legacy of the AF 21ST ward is gone but his memory and good works will live forever in all of our hearts . I had the privilege of serving as his Relief Society present for 3 years when he was our Bishop . No one served or loved better than Bishop Hansen. We all love the whole Hansen family! Please accept our sincere sympathy. Xoxo

Larry And Karen and their children are a very special family. We all, young and old, were part of a fun group of bright, creative, and active children who built huts, ran down to the polywog pond, jumped on the trampoline, created their own world in a camper shell, and made use of every minute they were allowed to enjoy one another. As families, we celebrated Easter, watched Ben Hur, had barbecues and loved life.
Larry was an important part of all of this, and we watched as examples of leadership became part of what we were doing. Larry was kind and thoughtful. When LeGrande was in the hospital after his accident Larry was there to visit, assess and cheer.
Larry was always well groomed and proper. Yet, at the same time, we watched on different occasions as he really enjoyed himself with friends and family.
Larry had a fervent testimony that he shared with others by the way he lived and served.
LeGrande and I are grateful for Larry, Karen and family. They are very important to us, and we are eternally grateful for the good memories we have of our stay on this earth with them as our neighbors.
