Obituary of Karolyn Marry Myers Nightingale

Karolyn Marry (Myers) Nightingale died in her home on May 16, 2016 in American Fork, Utah due to complications related to Renal Kidney Failure. She was 75. Karolyn was born on November 13, 1940 in Milford, Utah to her parents, Heber D. Myers and Gilva A. Myers. Karolyn was the youngest of 4 siblings. She graduated from Milford High School and Married Ronald D. Blackner (Divorced/Deceased). Karolyn had 4 Children; Roger Ronald Blackner, Mark Dee Blackner, Heber James Blackner and Terry Elizabeth Robe. Karolyn worked as a Dental Hygienists (she worked on Elvis and other Celebrities) She also worked in the Restaurant Industry and Customer Service. She was always a hard worker and often worked 2 jobs to raise her children. She was Kind and Charitable to those in need and would often take in Nieces or Nephews or her Children’s friends. Despite enduring many hardships, she always had a “Can Do” attitude, even in the face of Great trial or tribulation. Karolyn is survived by her 4 Children and their families; 21 Grand Children, 12 Great Grand Children, her sisters, Ranae Degraw; and Shirleen Arns. She is preceded in death by her Parents, & Brother Dewayne Myers and Sister Roma Jean Williams. A Memorial Service will be held in Karolyn Nightingale’s honor on June 3, 2016 at 1:00pm. Her ward building 240 South Center Street, American Fork, Utah 84003 Grave Side Ceremony will be held June 4, 2016 1:00pm at the Milford, Utah Cemetery
