Oh Russ, I have on a couple visits to Utah over the past 40 years try to get the opportunity to see you, Leon and Kelly, I did hear from Mark Tippits a couple years ago and he gave me the news about Kelly.
Leon it's good to see your reply and I hope you see my comment so we can get in touch sometime soon craigwilles@yahoo.com for anyone who would like one of my e-mail's
I was out on the golf course yesterday, but in Atlanta so I would have had a hard time to get our to Utah anyhow had I seen this post sooner.
We had many wonderful times together, and always felt welcome in your parents lovely home, I will always remember the pure white carpet in the living room.
Our little group with Kelly, Leon and myself loved to live fast on the road, I had a 500 horse power Jeep SRT until a couple years ago, and have 3 motor cycles, one that I have hit 178 mph on last year, and am going to shoot for 200 later this year on my Yamaha R1, also have a M109 R (1800 cc) Suzuki and a Kawasaki classic Vulcan 1500.
Leon, I did 304.27 MPH in a quarter mile a few years back, I am sure you would have loved that yourself.
Also I will never forget your little red convertible that we plowed into the mountain on our way up night skiing, and people drove by honking like we were just parked in the middle of the road for no reason, not realizing we did a couple 360's and just plowed into the side of the mountain.
I have thought of you and the guys often over the years.
And of course many a good times on the ski slope.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Russ was such an amazing Co worker. He was starting to train me on disassembling machines. He was always happy, loving, and caring. We loved when Tuesdays would roll around cause we knew he would come in with his amazing spirit and make us all happy. Russ will be missed by everyone at Xlear. God bless. And rest in peace.

My kids called him Papa Smurf. He was a wonderful, generous and a kind soul. He will be sorely missed. The Gardner family is in our prayers.

There is a hole in our world today. Oh, the all consuming intensity of youth that is the pallet upon which the rest of lives is drawn. Mini bikes, go carts, Lake Powell, drag racing, girlfriends and then...
We grew up in paradise as best friends. Nothing could have been better. I have always loved you my friend. Tell Kelly howdy and please wait for our reunion.
