I had the honor to work with Hal at the Prison. I fished with Hal, and I never heard a harsh word. He was a "good old boy" if there ever was one. He will be missed. I hope he is building fly rods, fishing or riding a horse looking for elk on the other side. I am happy to call Hal my friend.

Sorry, that was from my phone and I couldn't see that autocorrect was at work. I got to know Hal as a co worker and neighbor. We have raised our families together over the years. He would talk to me about the kids and grandkids and our children have intertwined friendships. He loves you and is so proud of you and your children! Love you guys!

Bennett Family, I am so sad to hear of Hal's passing. Hal was such a great guy. He loved his family more than anything. I have so many great memories of Hal. No matter how hard I tried I never out shot, out fished him, or threw a rock farther then him. He was so talented and smart. He helped me so much as a young man. We all will truly miss his smile and sense of humor. I will always be greatfull for the times we spent together. We love your family and wish you peace during this hard time. Rick, Jana, & Family
