I have known Barry since meeting him while working at GE in Ontario in 1997. I can say that working with him recently at American at LAX, he is very much the same employee. His work ethic has never changed as he still came to work, to work. Many days at American he was asked to work overtime even when he didn't sign up because they needed to get an airplane in service soon or they would have to cancel a flight. He loved working on airplanes and was respected by his peers. On several occasions Barry would just show up at my airplane to help me with a task that was too big for one person. I can say this man has done that many times for me and others in the years I have known him. As much as he loved his job, the biggest love in his life was his wife and kids. He loved spending time with his family and worked so much to provide for them. Barry had a big heart and I will miss our talks about airplanes, people and family. I thought he would be back in a month or two but now I have to accept that he is gone. That is hard for me. He was a good friend that would share his thoughts and idea's with me and that I could lean on and talk to. I will miss him. Rest in peace my brother.

I met Barry back in 1989 when we both started working at GE in Ontario. 11 years later we end up at American Airlines in LA and then on to Fort Worth, Texas till 2003. Barry loved to play Basketball we played every break time and lunch while at GE, I must say he was really good at it. He was always fun to work with and I have a lot of memories to look back on from those times. He will be truly missed and my heart and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.

I met Barry while working at GE and then while working at American Airlines in Los Angeles and Fort Worth. He was a very nice guy with a very big heart. Liked to get involved in all sorts of conversations about all sorts of things. Liked to work out a lot. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones.
