Mary, thank you for your comment. It's nice to here from a friend in the old neighborhood. Vicky was truIy a special person. David and Krystal have grown up to be very successful and extraordinary like their mother, who was responsible for the fine people they are. I haven't seen that house in over 20 years. It was a painful time when we left it. I haven't wanted to see it. I hope you and your family are well.

I too remember Vickie. Debbie and I were best friends in Jr. high school. I was at their house a lot. Vickie was always smiling and positive. She always offered us up advice it we wanted it or not
We had a lot of fun with her dragging state street with her.
My condolences to all of her family. She will truly be missed

I worked with Vicki last year at Hillside. No sweeter woman could ever be found. She lifted my spirits many times when I was struggling or overwhelmed. She always saw the greater picture. I feel that our world is a million times less brighter without her. I wish I could have spent more time just knowing her. xoxoo thank you and love to you, Vicki.

We were neighbors when our children were young. Vicky loved holidays and made us wonderful large chocolate covered marshmallow eggs with our name on them for Easter. She delivered warm baked goods on Christmas morning. When she started working at the print shop, she would share her books with my children. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds. She planted two trees in her front yard--at the time, they were mere sticks. She would be pleased to know, they are now beautiful Norway Maples.

Mrs Hansen will be missed dearly. She had such a presence in the halls of Hillside and the students loved her. She had a warm smile for anyone passing and always had a gaggle of students around her. Such sadness for the loss of such a special lady. Prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time.

Vicky was so passionate about teaching, loved the kids, and was always willing to help out. She would play basketball, soccer, lend people things, etc. what ever she could do to help and support others. She will be missed. My sympathies to her family.
