I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER SISTER GERRY DUNCAN AS HAVING THE GREATEST SMILE AND SWEETEST HUGS. SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE ME FEEL WELCOME AT MT. TIMP VILLAGE WHEN I MOVED THERE 5 YEARS AGO. OUR FRIENDSHIP GREW, AS DID OUR LOVE FOR SHARING RECIPIES, AND PHONE VISITS. SHE WOULD VISIT ME IN MY HOME OFTEN, KNOWING I AM LEGALLY BLIND, AND HAD BECOME PRIMARILY HOME BOUND. I WILL MISS GERRY SO VERY MUCH. KNOWING HER LOVE, AND KINDNESS HAS MADE ME A BETTER PERSON. I KNOW I WILL SEE HER AGAIN WHEN IT IS MY TIME TO LEAVE THIS EARTH UNIVERSITY.

Mrs, Duncan was always so kind and special to me even as I wrapped on the backdoor to roust up the boys. She was always known as Gerry to our family. How can I ever forget the large bowls of popcorn Gerry would make for us on those late Friday nights while we watched Fireman Frank and Nightmare Theater. Gerry was such a great friend of our family. She will surely be missed on this earth. May she rest in peace. Mike Hansen, Lori, Kelly, and Cary.
