Carol Sharp
Carol Crowther Sharp died, September 24, 2016 in American Fork, Utah. She was born October 28, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The daughter of Junius L. Crowther and Mary Dredge Crowther.
She met Dee V. Sharp after his return from the military on a blind date then waited for him while he served a mission. They were married on June 3, 1949 in the Logan Temple.
Carol graduated from Malad High School, and attended Brigham Young University where she played the flute in the orchestra and sang in the BYU choir.
She served with her husband in the presidency of the Provo, Temple as an assistant to the matron from September 1992 to September 1995.
She served missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with her husband in Hawaii and in Washington DC.
She is survived by her husband, Dee, her four children, Marlin D. (Julia) Sharp, Bruce V. (Nancy) Sharp, Corinne S. (Kevin) Malone, and Deanne S (Richard) Allred and grandmother of Twenty two grandchildren and great grandmother of forty three great grandchildren, two sisters Rosemary (Leo) Wilcox, Farmington, Utah and Vella (Keith) Perkins, Orem, Utah and one brother Sheldon (Sharolyn) Crowther, Orem, Utah.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a twin sister, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 38th Ward, 2433 West 450 South, Pleasant Grove. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Thursday at the church from 9:45-:10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
