Obituary of Leo Noble Larson
Leo Noble Larson was called home on September 25, 2016. He was born September 6, 1948 in Provo, Utah to Ross and Elinora Larson.
He grew up in Burley, Idaho and graduated from Burley High School. He attended Ricks College before serving in the New Zealand LDS mission from 1967-1969. After returning from his mission, he married his sweetheart, Cynthia Ann Whittaker in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 7th, 1970.
Leo was a hardworking, dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was always an active member of the LDS church, holding various callings throughout the years. He worked for the LDS Church for thirty-three years. Leo loved planning and taking trips, having family barbecues, and collecting coins. He was an example of how to work hard, give service, and maintain a sense of humor through all of life’s trials.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia of 46 years; three children: Todd (Laura) Larson, Elaina (Matt) Poulsen, Christa (Danny) Swenson and 14 grandchildren; siblings Joyce Lundgren, Kathy (Craig Maughan), Reed (Lori) Larson, and Raedene Blucher.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman, and son Robert.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30 at 10:00am at the Eaglecrest 3rd Ward Chapel, 700 W 2600 N, Lehi, UT.
A viewing will be held at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 6141 W 11000 N, Highland, UT on Thursday, September 29th from 6:00pm- 8:00pm and from 8:45am- 9:45am at the church prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
