What an amazing couple. What a grand example of devotion to one another. Joni and I were blessed to serve with Carl and Maxine in a BYU singles ward and they effected both our lives so much, that we have never let go of them. We are both better people because of them. Who was not lifted and forgot their worries and cares when they heard Maxine laugh, mimic or tell a humorous story in her special way? We have lost a kind,classy, grand lady who loved the Lord and Life.......
All her children are a great reflection and mirror of her and Carl's influence and love.....Carl-----your example of daily and hourly devotion to Maxine, is such an example of the Saviors love-----to all of us.
