We learned recently of Virgil's passing and want to extend thoughts of appreciation - especially on behalf of the late Glen and Lona Rhodes - for his decades of warm friendship.
Not only do we remember a kind and pleasant man who possessed a ready smile and laugh but also a man of wonderful artistic skill and considerable technological talent.
I believe Virgil is the last of the group of close friends whose friendship persisted for a lifetime - Max and Edith Searle, Leo and Lucille Wootton, Glen and Lona Rhodes, Larry and Edith Lassen, "Juney" and Dorothy Gray and Hindley and Ivey Mayne.
Although Virgil was advanced in years, it's still difficult when a parent leaves.
Sincerely,
Larry Rhodes
