We were in your mom's ward for a short time and enjoyed getting to know her. She was always smiling and had a good word to say about everyone. We hope the good memories you have will keep you going as you go through this transition in life.

21 years ago my 4 children and I moved to American Fork, Utah for a fresh start after my first marriage ended! My heart was broken and life seemed so hard! I'm pretty sure that Heavenly Father in his mercy guided me to move right next door to this lovely woman! "Gramma Glenda" became my friend, confidant, counselor, baby sitter in a pinch, and example! She always kept smiling no matter how life showed up for her! She also was divorced, and had endured many difficult things gracefully in her life! In her later years she even lost her eyesight with macular degeneration, but I never heard her complain about it! She just endured beautifully and always had a smile and a Jolly Rancher to share! This week Heaven is a little brighter because she's there! And she can see it all!
Today we celebrate her life! I just wanted to share here how much she means to me!!

We loved Glenda so very much! She was so sweet to us and so good to Howard. She was such a wonderful and loving woman, and cared about everyone. We loved visiting with her and missed seeing her after she moved out of her home. Our family is so grateful for her and for all that she did for Howard. He loved her and appreciated everything she did for him all those years. We have great memories of time spent together. We will miss her. Our love and prayers are with her family. Murray, thank you so much for everything.

I loved working with Glenda at the AF Hospital in the gift shop and at the information desk. She was so kind and thoughtful, always gracious and giving. Love and blessings to her family at this time of loss.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have no doubt that God will remember her and keep her memory safe. He will surely be glad to bring her back to life in a perfect world when suffering will be no more and we will all welcome back our loved ones that are asleep in death. I worked with Glenda at the American Fork Senior Center, also as a volunteer at the hospital, She was some one very special, and a dear friend, I will miss her.
