Dear Carolyn and family,
I am so sorry for your loss! Neal was a good guy! Always had a smile on his face! I will miss driving past your house in the summer and seeing him wave to everyone who went past. Seems like he knew everybody and everybody knew him! RIP Neal. God bless your family!

Tara and Carolyn I'm sorry to hear of your father passing but I know he was tired and finally ready to go home so I hope you can find comfort in knowing that and also comfort in the gospel of Jesus Christ

God speed, Neal! Memories with Neal go as far back as I have memories. From those long days in the apple orchards and sortering sheds as kids, to the homes, churches, schools, and freeway bridges we worked on as men, he was a good friend and willing helper. He was as loyal as any person I ever knew. He was a finisher; he always stayed and helped to the end, no matter how long, how miserable or how disagreeable the task or I became. Neal had a forgiving heart, always. When he took my hand to say goodbye at Huntsman several days before his passing, nothing needed to be said. "...whoso is posessed of [charity] at the last day, it shall be well with him."

Niel indeed is a hard working man and my father never hesitated to point him out as an exemple in teaching me to be honest, attentive and a solid team player. Thank you-Niel-for your kindness and friendship to people at every age!!! I'm better because of you.

I remember Neal from times at Am. Fork High School. He was always friendly and had a positive attitude. He had lots of friends and always seemed to be in the center of many school happenings. Please accept my sympathy at the loss of your loved one.

Very sad to learn this news. Neil was unfailingly kind to me all my years growing up. I always enjoyed my time around him in the neighborhood and on the jobsite. I will miss hearing his tall tales told in my native dialect. I’ve missed too many of these funerals since leaving Alpine. Thank you for your friendship Neil. You will be missed.

This is sad news for so many of us Alpiners. There is not a childhood memory without Hemi somewhere in the background. He was true to his family and he was true to his friends. Good bye my friend you will truely be missed, but we will forever have our memories!
