I haven't seen Craig since high school. I played soccer with him at AFHS. He was a great goalie and a super tough guy. I remember it was a hot day at soccer practice and we were all running through the sprinklers. I remember Craig did a front flip and broke his collar bone. He seemed to take it in stride.
I remember he was always making us laugh and was such a nice guy. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

Ted and Jennifer, it has been 50 years Ted, since we served in the Central States Mission. You are one of my favorite missionaries, and my memories of us together bring joy to my heart. I am saddened to read of your son's passing. Losing a child is one of the most difficult things anyone has to face. Having lost a daughter and granddaughter in infancy, I can only imagine the additional grief of losing an adult child. Please know I send prayers and love to you, as well as warm, positive thoughts in the days ahead. God bless you Barretts.

We LOVED Craig! He was an awesome neighbor, friend, teacher and just an incredible all-around guy! He and Sheri taught my our, Tommy, in primary, and he loved Craig! Crag nicknamed my son Tommy Gun... It made him feel special. And, after watching my boys play soccer in our front yard every afternoon of every day, he brought over a homemade soccer goal to let them borrow. They were ecstatic! They use it to this day! He was also kind enough to help us with any and all of our sprinkler and landscaping needs. He was always kind to our little family. He always had a smile. He always had time to chitchat with Mike or juggle the soccerball with the boys. He was generous with everything he owned. He was always willing to Iend a hand. His smile was warming and his laugh was contagious. Our lives were definitely enriched by knowing him. Craig: we are so sad you are gone, but we are comforted to know that you are with your loving Father in heaven! Save us a seat!

Craig was the funniest guy ever. His quick wit coupled with a huge heart was always a mix that was genius. I have a huge amount of gratitude for having Craig in my Life. His sensitivity was so rich with love for everyone. I can't help but feel the world has gotten so much smaller and very different.. Craig will be missed so much. I love the Barratt family. I loved seeing him at work. He always greeted me with a smile, asked me how I was doing and checked up on the Literacy Center. Sending love to his beautiful family and I want them to know that he was a kind and caring person. We will certainly miss him.
