Obituary of Brent Beryl Cloward
Brent Beryl Cloward, 74, returned to our Heavenly Father on January 3, 2017 in American Fork, Utah. He was born March 12, 1942 in Payson, Utah to Beryldean and June Thomas Cloward. He married Karen Moore March 5, 1965 in Spring Lake, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.
He loved sports, the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and trapshooting. His greatest joy was his family. He spent countless hours watching his grandchildren in all of their activties and sporting events.
Brent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout his life he worked as a meat salesman and manager for Monarch, Granite, and Wasatch Meats. He also served as President and Director of the Utah State Trap Association, Director of the Spanish Fork Gun Club, and President of the Big Horn Ranch.
Brent is survived by his wife Karen, his children: Lisa (Kirtt) Myers, Russell (Stephanie) Cloward, Keri Lyn (Michael) Duke, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, siblings: Richard Cloward, Steven Cloward and Karen Daniels. Preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jeanette.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 22nd Ward, 825 East 500 North. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and on Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
