David was a wonderful kind person. We remember all the service he gave to others while in our Ward . He was so kind to everyone and exemplified the true Light of Christ. We remember so many conversations with he and Karen. Both of them were always there to help wherever they could . They have been wonderful parents and grandparents to Catherine and her children. They should feel so blessed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Karen . May you find peace in the Saviors love for you and your family.

I have known Dave since I was a child. Him and my Papa were raised by Uncle Dave and Aunt Daisy. He and Karen and later Catherine would be over at Uncle Dave's and Aunt Daisy's a lot of the times we were there. We would occasionally see him and his family away from them. He was a very kind and gentle man. Soft spoken and polite. He will be greatly missed. I pray for the family during this time of great loss.
Abundant Blessings,
Kal and Annamarie Shadden

I knew Dave and Karen as a boy when they moved to our ward. Both were always kind and gracious. Dave, like the Savior, went about doing good. We should all be as humble as Dave.
