Words can not express what a wonderful person Carma is. When I think of Carma the first thing that comes to mind is her infectious laugh. Her laugh would instantly put a smile on anyone's face and if you weren't laughing when Carma started to laugh, you would realize this is actually pretty funny and I should be laughing. She knew how to call a spade a spade and didn't take any guff from anyone.
I moved away from Utah 15 years ago and while I didn't keep in touch as much as I liked or should have, it was always so nice to call Doug and Carma and hear their voices through the phone, the great words of advice and fantastic way of putting your life into perspective.
She was a shining star on this earth, I can't believe she is gone, but I know her brilliance will last forever.

Dear Brett and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Carma was loved and adored by many. I didn't realize that my parents went to school with Carma. They had many kind things to say about her. May you feel peace and comfort and the love of the Savior❤️

Dear Cornell Family - As a young man (boy) serving my mission in Poland alongside your parents was a pleasure. Your mom was a light to all of us. Always a smiling face and a hug whenever we met. She always had pictures to show us of her family back home and was happy to hear about our families as well. Thank you for sharing her with us for that span of time.

I was so sad to hear about Aunt Carma's passing. I wish we could make it down for the viewing and funeral, but we're not going to be able to. We'll be thinking of you all and I know that Carma will forgive me because, like she always told me, I was her favorite nephew. Love you, Carma and the entire Cornell family.
- Tyler, Mandy and family.

Doug and Family, I was saddened this morning to see Carma's beautiful face and learn of her passing. She was a fun classmate during our school years and whenever we met, in later years, she always seemed happy and upbeat. Such a beautiful, classy lady. I'm so sorry for your loss. Know that she is dancing with the angels, having a great reunion with other loved ones and watching over you.

I truly am geateful for this beautiful lady. We raised our children together, loved , laughed, and fought like sisters, ha ga, but always , always , we never ever stopped loving each other. I remember when I was camp director,, and getting things ready, Carma stepped out of the house and was, in her Carma voice, stating, It's going to rain, we are all going to be miserable, let's cancel, yep, sure thing, it' s going to rain. I am clostrophobic, so zip me up in my tent with my head sticking out, I will be ok and wet! Ha ha, Its' going to rain#%####** ha ha
