We would also like to give our condolences to my dear Thompson cousins. I found about about your mother's passing from an e-mail from my sister Karren. I would echo what Vickie said about how much fun it was to come and stay with you guys. Your mom always made it a blast. She was always amazing to me, with the strength of two men, yet the gentleness and kindness that only a daughter of God can give. I know it is hard as both my parents have been gone for a few years now. There are so many times I want to ask them questions about their missions as we are now serving in Italy on our mission. Patti and I are grateful for the time we were able to visit with your Mom when we lived in PG for a couple years, 27 years ago. She taught Patti how to arrange flowers and they did some crafts together. She was and is a great lady. I wish we could all be closer physically, but, I feel the love of our great family every day. Take care and know you are in our prayers.

Dear Thompson cousins,
I heard about your Mother, just now, from Miles who is in Italy! I am so sorry because I know how hard it is... I miss my Mother everyday. My best memories about your Mom was when I would come and stay at your house, we would be able to stay up all night and make a mess! She taught me how to Bowl (not that I really can) we always had so much fun. I loved going to see her and hear family stories; and one of the highlights was just a few years ago Cheryl and I took Winnie, Margie, and Mom to Sanpete to reminisce their youth and take pictures for the book I was writing on my Mom's history; we had a blast and I heard stories I had never heard before. It warms my heart to know she is with my Mom and Nanny and Grandpa talking up a storm! Love, Vickie. PS.. I will be home in a week! I have loved serving a Mission.

Dear Ann and Mike,
We are sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet mom. She was an inspiration to so many. I loved hearing Ann tell of the many things that were accomplished by her mom. She was truly a humanitarian. We send our love and sympathy.
Love, Barbara and Rulon

Dear Ann, Your mother was very special in my memory bank (as are you). I remember my first experience with cooking was in your home, under your mother's patient tutoring. I really loved her smiling countenance and happy voice. Your beautiful personality was a gift to me, as well. I know your Mom will be sorely missed in the years following this separation. My mother passed in 2000, at age 84, and I still miss her terribly every day. My faith tells me she is happy, and it comforts me to know we will be together again in "a small moment," May you be comforted, Ann; and know that you are loved. I wish I could be at the funeral, but our son-in-law passed away unexpectedly, on Easter morning. We are preparing for his viewing Thursday, and funeral Friday. I hope you and I will meet again at our 50th Class Reunion, next year.
