What a privilege it was to work closely with Mark in my years of service with Mentors International. I am a better person because of his influence on me, and I learned to love the helpless and homeless by his endless dedication to humanitarian service. He gave us all the gift of his Christ-like love, and I believe he was just too pure for this human existence.

Mark is one of the finest men I have ever met. His qualities match those of our Savior.
I know he lives, and will be one of his family's guardian angels through their lives. He will be their when they need him.
The world lost one of the finest men, and heaven gained one.
May Our Heavenly Father's blessings continue to be with Mark's precious family.

I worked with Mark at Dixie State. He had such a dynamic personality and he made every day an adventure. I am so sorry to hear that he has passed away. He left a lasting impression on me and once told me that there are things that happen in life that are worse than death. I am sad to think of what he had to endure.

Mark was possibly the kindest person ever. Becky, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I also know that you will be sustained and comforted by the Spirit and so many unseen loved ones. Mark will always be close because you and the kids are his greatest joy. I wish I could come to the services, but just know that you're loved up here in Ogden.

One of Mark's greatest talents was that of kindness. If I were to choose one word to describe him it would be the word kind. He was one of the few people who made anyone he talked to feel like they were his best friend. He was so uplifting, always complimenting my children and me for our musical efforts. He will be missed in person, but his legacy of kindness will live on as an example to me.

My heart goes out to this wonderful family who was led by the most kind and charitable man. Mark was so influential in my life as well as so many others and most importantly he loved his Becky like no other. He was a shining example by the way he treated people and how he loved and served his family. He will truly be missed by so many. Becky you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart aches for you at this sorrowful time. May the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation provide you with peace as we recognize this separation is temporary and one day you will be reunited.

I loved Mark. He made me feel special and valued. Maybe the sweetest thing I ever saw was him kissing Nathan tenderly and talking to him sweetly even though Nathan couldn't respond. He treated him with such respect. Heaven is rejoicing!

I loved Mark and his family. His Mom and Dad worked closely with me for more than ten years. They were so very proud of all their children. I was with them when we all awaited Nathan's flight from St. George. These were people whom I was proud to be among as family. God bless you all, especially you, Becky. Susan and I love you all. I feel as though I have known Mark and Becky all of my life. They have always been the SWEETEST couple and I've loved them for many years. My prayers are with you, Becky and all your beautiful family members. Mark is a giant of a man on both sides of the veil and I know you will miss him terribly, but I also know that he will be as close as you let him be. He will need that because you mean so much to him. Keep him alive in your hearts every minute of every day and he will continue to bless and guide your lives. I wish I could be at the service, but I'm not able to make the trip from St. George. You are in my prayers and thoughts. May the Lord bless and keep you always - Love, Patsy Lamb
