I worked at Durfey's Cleaners in the mid 80's. Dennis Durfey, the most honest & fair boss I've ever worked for. Super fun man to work with. Rest well my friend!

My husband, Mike, and I took up bowling about 5 years ago. We are trying to improve our game and one of the best ways to do that is to join a league. We had the good fortune of joining the Wednesday Night Mixed League at Jack and Jill Lanes. Noticing the skill of the other bowlers, we thought that perhaps we had made a mistake in joining. Dennis must have known what we were feeling. He was one of the first ones to help us relax and feel like we belonged. Dennis quickly became one of my favorites. He always had something funny to say so that no one took themselves too seriously. I'll never forget, I was having a very good night. The pins were falling and I was feeling pretty good about myself as we played against Dennis's team. After making what could have been the best shot of my life, Dennis, with his quick wit said, "It's hard to compete with luck like that!" Oh, how we'll miss our bowling buddy! But we wouldn't keep him here a minute longer knowing how excited he was to be with his sweetheart again. May the posterity of this great man carry on and live life to the fullest as he did. And if you're feeling sad and lonely, just think of something that Dennis would say at a time like this and it will quickly put a smile on your face.
