Obituary of Karla Jo Cochran Butler
Karla Jo Cochran Butler, 70, passed away on August 8, 2017 in Provo, Utah. She was born to Douglas Cochran and Mildred French on August 31, 1946 in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Karla loved to sing and blessed many with her beautiful voice. One of her most joyful moments was joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir during the Mount Timpanogos Temple dedication. Karla loved to beautify her surroundings with her love of gardening. She enjoyed watching sporting competitions, loved traveling, trivia, and was an amazing cook. She was also very thrifty with a penny. Being a mother and Nana was the most important privilege in her life.
Karla is survived by her four children: Andrew (Angie) Butler, Bethany (Rick) Fox Chrisi (Cole) Sorensen, Drue Butler and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 11:00 am in the West Mountain 3rd Ward 902 West 400 North Payson, Utah with a viewing before from 9:45 to 10:45 am. A viewing will be held Monday from 6-8 pm at the church. Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com.
