Obituary of Emeline Skidmore Lines

Emeline Skidmore Lines, 80, of American Fork, passed away February 3, 2018. Born September 21, 1937 in Pocatello, Idaho the daughter of William Lorenzo and Laverne Zollinger Skidmore. She married Martin Vardell Lines August 25, 1959 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Emeline earned a bachelor’s degree in music from BYU. She loved sewing, singing, playing piano, and serving others in many capacities. She was an active member of the LDS Church who loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and temple work. Survivors include: her husband Vardell; children, David (Brenda) Lines; Steven (Carey) Lines; Lynette Lines; Ellen (Bryant) Burkett; Joan (Talbot) Hall; and 10 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held Friday February 9, 2018 at 11:00 am in the American Fork 38th Ward, 239 E. 1100 S. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the services at the church. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
