Obituary of Paul Vardell Edwards

Paul VerDell Edwards, 81, passed away January 27, 2018 in American Fork, Utah. Born February 5, 1936 in Provo, Utah to Clyde LaVell Edwards and Hester Elizabeth Johnson Edwards. He married Alice Marie Harding on July 8, 1955 in Provo, Utah and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt lake Temple on August 28, 1959. Paul loved music, golf and camping. He loved his children, and they had many adventures together. There was never a dull moment. Paul’s love for music was expressed through playing in both a Western Band and Dance Band where he played the bass. Paul and Marie served one full time mission and three service missions together. He will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Marie, his children: Rick L. (Charlene) Edwards, Pauline Edwards and Lynnette (Doug) Thornton, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and three brothers, Clyde Edwards, Jr., Richard Edwards, and Kenneth Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, VerJean Mott and Lois Wilkins. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 6th Ward, 300 North 100 East. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
