Sister Crawley was always so sweet to me. As a little girl in church I'd try to sit next to her because during the hymns she always sang the harmony, the alto line. She never became impatient with me as I tried to follow her lead. In fact it was she that showed me how to follow the alto line. I know that it was in part her influence that brought me to obtain a music degree. She always said "yes" to Kitsy's request to invite me over after church. I had the best times ever and felt the most welcome in the Crawley family, and this is certainly a reflection on the love put forth by Sister Crawley. She will remain in my heart always. Much love to Kitsy and to all the Crawley clan.

I only saw Scott periodically, but she was the kind of person who immediately made you feel like family. I wish we had seen her more. My husband is bedridden right now, so we can’t come to the funeral, but we send our love.
