I lived next door to the Chorniaks from age 6 to 11, but for whatever reason we never hung out much. I regretted not being closer to them back then, and I regret it now too. They were all such nice kids, and I thought Brandon was hilarious the first time I met him. My heart bleeds for all of you. Rest in peace.

I browse the obituaries in The Herald on a daily basis just to keep up on local happenings with former neighbors and friends in Utah County. Whenever I run across the obituary of a seemingly active vibrant young person I am compelled to read the story as to what happened it is a sad event to lose a child at any moment of one's life as a parent but to lose three children and I am only guessing and assuming that they were similar circumstances it is overwhelming and unfathomable and I share your grief. From the comments of others I am able to gather enough information to know that your son Bryce was a chosen Spirit of Heavenly Father and was needed more beyond the Veil than he was in this life. We as Mortals do not have the capacity to understand why our hearts must be broken so many times in this life. We will only find the answers to these questions when we have graduated and moved on and rejoice in the day when we all will be reunited with our loved ones who have gone on before us. May you always find peace and joy and comfort in the knowledge of God's promise that families will be together forever. And may the memories of the special times and the love that you shared with your sons sustain you through this time of grief until that glorious day when you will be reunited with them, and you all will continue to live together forever in Paradise, under the watchful eye and embraced by the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Regretfully, I have never met any of you and did not have the privilege of knowing any of your sons. But I can tell that they are cherished and choice spirits whom I would rejoice in having that opportunity in the next life. My love and prayers go with this message to you and all of your family.

Bryce went to school with me. I got picked on a lot. He stood up for me. A lot. He was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing. When your on 7th grade it's awkward enough then to be picked on ugh was horrible. But he made me feel better. Like I always had a friend. I miss him.

Bryce was like a son to me. He was always with my son, Todd. I remember when he had his boy Todd and said he named him that so that he could yell at Todd for the rest of his life. We laughed at that for a long time.
I will miss driving through town and him seeing me and him yelling "BRRRRRR" as loud as he could.
I am heart broken for His parents.
Fly high Bryce. You will be never Forgotten!!!

Joel,
My heart breaks for you as I can't even imagine the pain, sorrow, and whatever else you are feeling. We knew at Brandon's funeral that it was going to be a challenge for Bryce. Your boys were so talented and full of life. I know things have never been the same since Bradlee and now you are challenged beyond anything I couldn't imagine. I hope you find some peace in knowing that he is were he wanted to be-reunited with his brothers and I sure hope that they are spending time with grandpa Dennis. I love you Joel and you will always be my brother, even if it is a stepbrother. May the lord guide you through and keep you strong.

Just recently I had Bryce come play on my sober softball team. The Bryce that showed up was one I haven't seen awhile. He was so happy and seemed to be doing really well! He got a long with everyone and tore it up on the field. The team was sad to hear about this even tho he only played 4 times. He impacted those people in such a short amount of time. Bryce always made me happy when I saw him. It makes me really sad this happened. On the same note it makes me happy knowing he doesn't have to fight anymore. I love you Bryce!
Wendy, I am deeply sorry for your loss! If there is anything I or any one of Bryce's friends can do. Do not hesitate to ask. We will always be there for you! Thank you for bringing Bryce into this world. He touched a lot of people with his friendship and personality.
