When I was a lttle girl, Coy and a friend brought a big round tub with water and a large catfish that they had caught. It was the first time I saw a fish. I was about 6 years old. This is when we lived with Grandma and Grandpa Ivy in Beaver. Coy was always like a big brother to me and I will miss him because I loved him

Coy was such a special friend and neighbor. If you needed anything he would be right there to help and lend a hand. Everybody loved his jokes he could come up with one every time you seen him. Our love to his special wife and family. We love you and will miss your sweet hubby and great dad.

Coy was a wonderful brother-in-law and will be truly missed. When I was growing up I spent most of my summers at my sister's house and I have lots of wonderful memories of Coy that I will treasure forever. Nancy I am truly sorry that I cannot be there for the services and a hug you tight . Love Phyllis

We are all heartbroken. Coy was such a good friend to us... especially my dad, Ross. Coy was one of his best friends. I couldn't believe his ability to remember jokes! He had a joke for everything! It was hard to know if a story he was telling was true or the beginning of a joke! :) We loved Coy dearly and enjoyed our Sunday morning coffee with him each week. He was so patient with my dad after my mom's death and after his many strokes. We've all lost an amazing friend. Our hearts are with Nancy and his family.

My favorite memory of Grandpa will always be whenever he would let us grandkids play with his hair. We curled it, braided it, put it in ponytails, or made it look as crazy as we wanted. He let us do whatever we wanted to it and he would just laugh at it. I will always treasure these memories.
