Gloria and family, Of course the sudden passing of Mike was such a surprise. I am sad that I couldn't see him before he left us. It has been quite a while since we served together in the HS Booster club, but I have fond memories of all the good he accomplished with others to raise the image of Lehi when we were still a small HS. He was very devoted, energetic and successful in what he accomplish for the kids at the HS. No doubt, he loved watching his children perform or compete. I am sad that I can't be in town for the funeral. Previous plans that coudn't be change. I give my love to your family and my prayers with you at this time for peace and comfort. To know Mike more than three decades is like looking at a Master Piece. I can hear his deep voice, and laugh as I type. Mike has always been an example of "fatherhood", his love for his children and grandchildren was exemplified through his support of every facet of their lives, and the way he treated my son, Matthew. Seldom did he miss their sports, or anything they participated. Sunday was a day, gathering family, for his homemade meal at their home. As a "husband" Gloria will miss flowers, his one on one camping weekends. Their traditions of service. A lot of meals cooked/baked for family and sent to others who needed service. Sharing mornings, cell calls, evenings and good nights. Together 90% of the time, 10% enjoying their individuality, with support from one another. I never entered their home without being teased over something; after over three decades, Mike and I bonded through respect. Gloria is my bestest friend in the whole world, Mike is her bestest friend in the whole world ... knowing Mike is to know Gloria. The void is unfathomable. Though he has passed, he remains through his wife, families, friends and all that will carry on his belief in serving humanity. He would ask nothing more than for all to support and embrace his wife and family at this time, and as I know Mike ... he will be with each of his loved ones on earth ... sometimes, in quiet times, and exciting times, and times in their sadness, all will "feel" his presence and know he is here. A man like Mike "never" leaves his families!

We are so sad to hear of Mike's passing. We were just getting started on becoming a part of your family, sharing our little grandson, Kade. Mike was always welcoming and happy to have us in your home. You raised some good kids, a fun and goofy bunch. We love Rhondelle with our son Michael, (so many Mikes in one family, it's confusing).
